I still haven't figured out just where China fits into American foreign policy and trade policy. Maybe no one has. But here are some very good and helpful resources I've come across in the last few days:
- Have China Scholars All Been Bought?
In the Far Eastern Economic Review, Carsten A. Holz gives a brave and amazing look behind the scenes at what China scholars in the West must do in order to keep getting access to China for research. - U.S.-China Relations: An Affirmative Agenda, A Responsible Course
A new Council on Foreign Relations report from Carla A. Hills, Dennis C. Blair, and Frank Sampson Jannuzi. - Think Again: China
In the new issue of Foreign Policy, China expert Harry Harding runs through the most important questions about China's future. - U.S. Corporations Lobby Against New Protections for Chinese Workers
From The Blotter blog by ABC News. - China Blocks Video-Sharing, Blog Sites
