Around the Web, a number of articles are aimed at advising the next president (Democrat or Republican) on ways to improve U.S. foreign policy.

On Day One

Modernizing Foreign Assistance for the 21st Century: An Agenda for the Next U.S. President
Steve Radelet at the Center for Global Development says U.S. foreign assistance programs are out of date and badly in need of modernization. He proposes a five-point strategy for modernizing U.S. foreign assistance.
