Among the many foreign policy clean up missions awaiting the new Obama Administration is what to do about torture and potential war crimes conducted by (or condoned by) American military and intelligence personnel during the Bush Administration. Some of these activities (like Abu Ghraib) have contributed to enormous anti-American feelings around the world, and some think U.S. foreign policy cannot regain its footing in many places unless America "deals with" the issue.

At Undiplomatic, Charlie Brown is running a poll on this topic. His choices are

  • Appoint a special prosecutor
  • Encourage a Congressional investigation
  • Appoint a truth commission modeled after the 9/11 commission
  • All of the above
  • None of the above -- it's time to move on
