U.S. Energy Independence By 2035?

If the International Energy Agency is correct, the United States could be energy independent in 22 years. You can read more about that here. The IEA says that will all come from a combination of oil and natural gas production and the use of renewable energy sources.

If so, that will dramatically put U.S. foreign policy in a more objective stance. It's a long way off, but the IEA sees the U.S. as on the right path.
