William Jennings Bryan, Unlikely Secretary Of State

As Hillary Clinton winds down her time as U.S. Secretary of State, I'm continuing my look at other secretaries of state throughout U.S. history. Here's an entry on William Jennings Bryan, who was better known for his populism and religious fundamentalism rather than his diplomacy. As secretary under Woodrow Wilson, he tried to slow America's drift into World War I.
