The U.S. military's Combined Joint Task Force-Horn of Africa (CJTF-HOA) is headquartered at Camp Lemonier in the tiny nation of Djibouti.
Most of the 1,800 personnel on base live in sixteen person tents like this one. The tents are air conditioned, but offer little privacy for residents. Expansion of the base in 2007 will offer better housing options.
