The blogosphere is full of great resources on U.S. foreign policy. Some of it is analysis, some is opinion, and some is on-the-ground reporting. Here are the ones I check nearly every day.
This blog is run by the editors of
Foreign Policy magazine. While it does point to content from the print publication, there is so much more. The daily "Morning Briefing" full of foreign policy related links is priceless.
Steve Clemons of the
New America Foundation runs this personal blog. Mixed in with great analysis of current events is high-quality, well-informed speculation about behind-the-scenes maneuvering in Washington, DC's foreign policy machine. And it has a new design!
The
McClatchy Newspaper chain offers blogs written by several of their foreign correspondents. I have gotten hooked on the one written by Nairobi-based Shashank Bengali. He provides background on the continent's major news stories, and he provided excellent inside accounts of the recent post-election violence in Kenya.
In Asia is produced by the
Asia Foundation and draws on 55 experts in 20 different countries. New material is posted every Wednesday.
This blog is jointy produced by the
Washington Post and
Newsweek. It is a conversation on global issues hosted by David Ignatius and Fareed Zakaria.
This multi-author blog aims "...to provide a venue for informed commentary on European politics... from a pan-European perspective." Their sister blog,
A Few Euros More, examines European cultural issues.
