TYRE, LEBANON - An Italian United Nations holds his beret as a supply helicopter takes off (September 2, 2006) in Tyre, Lebanon. Italian troops landed in Lebanon in the first major reinforcement of the United Nations mission monitoring a truce between Israel and the Shiite militants of Hezbollah. The 878 elite soldiers from the San Marco and Lagunari regiments are embarking on what Italian Prime Minister Romano Prodi has called 'a delicate mission, of enormous historical importance.
